Construction of an Ecological Marina

In 2012, the Municipal Office in Węgorzewo, through an open public tender, entrusted Inwest-Serwis Investment Services with the construction of a modern eco-marina on the north-eastern shore of the Węgorzewo Canal on the Węgorapa River.

As part of the project, a new marina with piers for 30 boats will be built, along with a harbor master’s office featuring a watchtower, a sanitary pavilion for sailors and tourists, residential quarters, and a laundry with a drying room.

The investment aims to support modern environmental protection and address the problem of waste on the shores and waters of the Great Masurian Lakes.

The total value of the investment amounts to PLN 2.5 million, of which more than PLN 1.5 million comes from the European Regional Development Fund.

The construction of the marina, including waste collection and segregation systems, is being carried out according to schedule, with the planned completion date set for April 30, 2013.
