Official Opening of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Sorkwity

As part of the project, the following works were carried out: construction of a dedicated pumping station collecting incoming wastewater from three pressure pipelines; construction of a control system for the pumping station along with a coarse basket screen; construction of a new control and visualization system for the treatment plant’s operation; implementation of the second stage of mechanical wastewater treatment; construction of tanks including a retention tank, two biological reactors, and a tank for aerobic stabilization of excess sludge; construction of a shelter for storing screenings, sand pulp, and processed excess sludge; installation of an aeration system for the wastewater in the biological reactors and in the aerobic sludge stabilization chamber; construction of a covered blower station equipped with frequency converters and oxygen probes; equipping the sludge dewatering and hygienization station; construction of a receiving station for delivered wastewater; installation of an inter-facility pipeline system; renovation of the existing social building; and construction of access roads, walkways, and technological platforms.
