Construction of an Educational Building with an Experimental Pig Farming Laboratory

The project was implemented as part of the Eastern Poland Operational Program under the title: "Expansion, modernization, and equipping of the educational and research laboratory complex for technology, quality, and food safety."

Scope of works included:

1. Construction works: Demolition of the building (volume: 5,130 m³), earthworks, site drainage, soil replacement, reinforced concrete and masonry structural works, supply and installation of steel structure, roofing works, thermal insulation, installation of PVC and ALU windows and doors, including fireproof ones, resin flooring, plastering, installation of acid- and chemical-resistant PVC flooring on walls and floors, installation of ceramic tiles in sanitary rooms, painting, suspended ceiling installation, facade works using clinker brick and stone.
2. Sanitary installations: Water and sewage system with connection, gas system with connection, fire protection, central heating, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, stormwater drainage, gas boiler room with automation.
3. Electrical and telecommunication installations: Power connection, power and distribution lines, electrical outlets, computer and telephone networks, lighting, underfloor heating and heating lamps, alarm system, access control, fire alarm system (SAP), CCTV, audiovisual system.
4. Technological elements: Supply and installation of equipment for auditoriums, pig farming technology (including reinforced concrete channels with grates, installation of pens including farrowing pens with feeding troughs, installation of two scales), construction of two reinforced concrete tanks of 250 m³ each and one reinforced concrete tank with mixer of 530 m³ for liquid manure with pumping station, construction of a 150 m² manure slab.
5. Site development: Construction of traffic routes (access roads, maneuvering areas, pedestrian paths) with stone surface over 2,610 m², landscaping, lawns, plantings, and installation of small architecture elements.
